Faith Tides is published at the beginning of the month, on a monthly basis, from September to June (no issues in July and August). We are open to submissions from all, whether you are affiliated with the Anglican Church of Canada or not. However, we seek submissions that are relevant to those worshipping in the Anglican Diocese of Islands and Inlets. Diocesan news

We publish news articles about events, projects, ministries and significant developments happening in the wider diocese. Articles should be between 400-600 words and submitted as a Word document (.doc or .docx) to [email protected]. Please also submit good quality images where applicable, preferably taken on a camera (rather than a phone camera) and submitted as a jpeg. Include captions and photo credits in your email.

Parish news

We publish news articles about events, projects, ministries and significant developments happening within parishes, where they are of interest or could provide inspiration to members of the wider diocese. Articles should be between 400-600 words and submitted as a Word document (.doc or .docx) to [email protected]. Please also submit good quality images where applicable, preferably taken on a camera (rather than a phone camera) and submitted as a jpeg. Include captions and photo credits in your email.

Features and opinion pieces

We publish longer feature articles (between 600-1000 words) that explore a theme or topic relevant to the Anglican church on Vancouver Island, or that offer more personal insights than a news article allows. We are also interest in opinion pieces that offer a perspective on pressing issues or events of the day. Articles should be submitted as a Word document (.doc or .docx) to [email protected]. Please also submit good quality images where applicable, preferably taken on a camera (rather than a phone camera) and submitted as a jpeg. Include captions and photo credits in your email.
